Walter Zamorski

Union Position: Vice President

Walter started with the Town of Southampton Highway Department in May of 2005 as a laborer. Walter progressed to Automotive Equipment Operator, Heavy Equipment Operator, Assistant Labor Crew Leader, and is currently the Labor Crew Leader in North Sea.  He joined the board to be a voice and an ear for the membership. Walter's goals are to maximize awareness of membership benefits and understanding of our Contract.  With his many years of experience, he is looking forward to making a difference.

COLLEEN Tuohy-Jones

Hired June 2008
Union Position: Secretary

Colleen has been a dedicated part of the town's workforce since June 2008, working in the Citizens' Response Center. As a Union member, she has participated in the sunshine committee, labor meetings, shop steward training, and grievance training.

Colleen is looking forward to becoming more involved with the union to help my fellow members access the answers they need from this organization, while also guaranteeing open communication and a trustworthy, safe, healthy, and enjoyable work environment.

Renee Reilly

Hired 2019
Union Position: Treasurer 

Renee has been an employee of the town since 2019.  She has worked for the Town Clerk in Records Management, as an Administrative Assistant in Land Management and is currently an Administrative Assistant in the Community Preservation Fund (CPF).  She has been a union member since the start of her employment.  Renee has served as the Sunshine Committee Chair since 2024.

She is happy to take on the role of Treasurer & is looking forward to helping out her fellow union members the best she can.

Ryan Abrahamsen

Hired March 2015
Union Position: President 

Ryan is a Public Safety Dispatcher for the Town but has also held various part time positions in the past such as Recreation Aide, Beach Attendant and Clerk Typist (Office Assistant).  He started as a PSD in 2015 and has been in the union from the start of his employment.  In 2021, Ryan began his first executive board position as Treasurer.  Through his first four years on the board, he's successfully handled numerous Grievances, created and maintained an accurate budget and continues to expand his knowledge to best serve the Members of our Unit.
